Technology/Information Skills

Students will be proficient in a variety of technologies in ways that are responsible, are respectful, and enhance both the academic and life skills. Students will be able to critically assess and interpret information, and to communicate that information to others using appropriate technologies.

Target: Students will use technology to communicate and collaborate across settings and apply digital citizenship skills.

  • Collect, interpret, analyze and evaluate information

  • Select and use a variety of programs and applications

  • Select and use a variety of technological tools appropriate to a task

  • Create products to communicate their learning and represent information

  • Practice and advocate for legal and ethical use of technology

  • Use a variety of sources to gather information

  • Determine whether sources are pertinent, timely, authoritative, objective, and reliable
