Universal PreK

Preschool Enrollment 2023-2024 - for Hartford residents:

If your child is new to the Hartford School District, please complete this form for returning students.

If your child has not yet been enrolled in a district preschool program, please read and complete the following documents:

Hartford School District is in compliance with Act 166, which "provides for universal access to publicly funded prekindergarten education. All public and private prekindergarten (PreK) education programs, including Head Start and public school operated programs, must meet specific requirements to operate a PreK program in Vermont. The Hartford School District contracts with several community-based private prekindergarten(PreK) education programs that have been prequalified by the Agency of Education. The district offers a half-day pre-kindergarten program at each elementary school. Morning and afternoon sessions are available.
